Training For Professionals
Practitioner Training for Emotional Resolution®
Learn to Guide Others Through EmRes®
The EmRes® Practitioner Training provides professionals with the knowledge, practical experience, and supervised practice needed to guide individuals through the resolution of recurring and debilitating emotional patterns.
At the core of the training is interoception—the perception of physical sensations arising from within the body—and the development of Viscero-Somatic Quieting™, the ability to attend to these sensations without attempting to analyze, control, or modify them.
Through a progressive combination of theory, experiential learning, case studies, and supervised practice, participants learn how to safely guide clients through the Emotional Resolution® process.
What You Will Learn
The training prepares practitioners to work with recurring emotional responses such as:
-
Anxiety and stress
-
Fears and phobias
-
Anger and irritability
-
Inhibitions and emotional blocks
-
Recurring emotional triggers
-
Trauma-related emotional responses
-
Other disruptive or debilitating emotional patterns
Participants also develop a deeper understanding of emotional functioning, the relationship between bodily sensations and emotions, and how to recognize and facilitate the natural sensory process used in Emotional Resolution®.
Beyond Certification
Upon successful completion of the certification process, Certified EmRes Practitioners become eligible for continuing education and advanced training offered by the Emotional Health Institute.
Advanced programs include:
EmRes® Applied to the Body
Exploring the application of Emotional Resolution® when physical symptoms occur alongside emotional responses.
Teaching Self-EmRes®
Training Certified Practitioners to teach individuals how to apply the principles of Emotional Resolution® independently.
Additional continuing education, practice groups, supervision, and advanced applications are offered to support practitioners as their experience develops.

3 hours (as a group 2 to 3 weeks after Mod 1)
20 sessions with clients to be done after this Module.
After completing your first EmRes® sessions, Module 2 provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the practice through case review, coaching, and discussion of the challenges encountered as a practitioner.
Together, we examine difficult or unexpected cases, refine your understanding of the Emotional Resolution® process, and address questions that have emerged through your initial practice.
This module is designed to strengthen your skills and confidence as you continue practicing toward the advanced level.
At this stage, Emotional Resolution® also begins to move beyond technique. Through continued practice and personal experience, the principles of EmRes become increasingly integrated into the way you understand and relate to your own emotional responses.
Module 3

2 days in person (as a group)
9:30am to 6:00pm
20 sessions with clients to be done after this Module.
Module 3 is designed to deepen and refine your ability to guide others through the Emotional Resolution® process, building on the experience you have developed through your practice.
A prerequisite for this module is the completion of at least 30 guided EmRes® sessions, with client notes maintained for each session.
The training is highly experiential and draws extensively from participants' real-world cases. Together, we examine challenging sessions, explore the subtleties of emotional dynamics, and develop a more nuanced understanding of the resolution process.
You will learn to recognize underlying fears and emotional patterns that may not be immediately apparent, both in yourself and in the people you guide. You will also learn and practice additional techniques designed to support clients when the standard process presents challenges.
By the end of Module 3, you will have developed a deeper understanding of Emotional Resolution®, greater flexibility in your practice, and more advanced skills for guiding a wide range of emotional patterns.
1 hour lunch break and two 15 minute breaks will not be counted toward CE time awarded.
Continuing education credit shall be awarded only for instructional time. Lunch and other breaks shall not be included in total time awarded for continuing education credit.

$700.00
3 days
Pre-requisite:
EmRes® Practitioner Certification
This advanced training explores the application of Emotional Resolution® when physical symptoms, persistent emotional patterns, and complex trauma-related responses are present.
Participants deepen their understanding of the relationship between emotional processes and bodily experience, while learning advanced approaches for working with situations that require greater nuance, flexibility, and care.

This course is available exclusively to Certified EmRes Practitioners.
Advanced Classes
Teaching Self-EmRes
$300.00
1 day
Pre-requisite: To be a Certified EmRes Practitioner
This advanced course prepares Certified EmRes Practitioners to teach Self-EmRes® to individuals and groups, giving participants the tools to work independently with their own recurring emotional difficulties.
Over the years, EHI has developed a clear and accessible framework for teaching Self-EmRes that combines practical experience with an understanding of the emotional processes underlying the method.
The training focuses on two central themes:
-
How Emotions Are Constructed — understanding the relationship between the brain, body, interoception, previous experience, and emotional responses.
-
How Recurring Emotional Patterns Can Resolve — understanding how outdated predictions can continue to generate emotional responses and how the EmRes® process may allow these predictions to be updated through sensory experience.
You will learn how to communicate these concepts in accessible language, guide experiential exercises, answer common questions, and teach participants how to use Self-EmRes® safely and independently.
Teaching Self-EmRes also provides an opportunity to deepen your own understanding of Emotional Resolution®. Learning to explain the process clearly and guide others toward emotional autonomy strengthens both your knowledge and your practice as an EmRes® practitioner.
