Small Feelings have Big Impact

By Sue Siebens

In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we often underestimate the impact of small feelings we experience throughout the day. From fleeting moments of irritation to subtle waves of anxiety or frustration, these seemingly insignificant emotions can accumulate over time, creating a heavy emotional burden that weighs us down and diminishes our happiness and contentment. It's like carrying around a backpack filled with pebbles - each one alone may seem inconsequential, but they can become overwhelming together.

From the moment our eyes flutter open in the morning until we slip into sleep at night, every interaction, every setback, every unspoken word can contribute to this emotional backpack we unknowingly accumulate. We may brush off these small feelings, telling ourselves to toughen up or move on, but deep down, they linger in our subconscious, affecting our mood, behaviors, and overall well-being. This emotional residue can cloud our perceptions, strain our relationships, and stifle our inner peace.

The accumulation of these small feelings can lead to stress, anxiety, and a general sense of unease. We may find ourselves easily triggered, more prone to negative thinking, and less able to experience moments of peace and joy in our daily lives. This emotional burden can manifest in various ways, impacting our relationships, work performance, and overall quality of life.

Emotional Resolution, or EmRes, offers a powerful approach to addressing these accumulated emotions and releasing the emotional burden that weighs us down. Developed by the Emotional Health Institute, EmRes is a method designed to help individuals process emotions as they arise in the moment or later in sessions with an EmRes Practitioner.

The essence of EmRes lies in the modern neuroscientific understanding of how emotions are made. We can naturally "re-wire" the emotion-making process without judgment or suppression. By resolving unprocessed emotions buried in the past, our remaining emotions are in sync with our current reality and not a burden.

Emotional Resolution empowers individuals to cultivate emotional resilience and create a more harmonious relationship with their emotions. By addressing small feelings as they arise and resolving them in the moment, individuals can prevent the buildup of emotional burdens and experience greater emotional freedom and well-being. Through EmRes, individuals can embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation, ultimately finding peace and joy in their everyday experiences.

In a world where stress, uncertainty, and negativity abound, Emotional Resolution offers a beacon of transformation. So, the next time you feel a twinge of unease or a pang of sadness, consider resolving it instead of pushing it aside. Through Emotional Resolution, you may discover a newfound sense of liberation and inner peace that allows you to experience life with greater joy and contentment, navigating life's ups and downs with grace and finding a more profound sense of fulfillment and well-being.

Are you ready to empty your emotional backpack?
